Radical transparency
We are admirers of Ray Dalio and the principles of radical transparency he applies in his company Bridgewater Associates. Radical transparency is all about idea meritocracy, focused on the pursuit of truth. The best idea wins regardless of seniority, position or status. Nothing beats substance in the creation of meaningful work.
Win-Win Mentality
A win-win mentality does not mean trying to please everyone. It is about finding equilibrium between diverse interests and encapsulating it in a flexible and creative solution for the problem at hand. This mindset also has a lot to do with enthusiasm, optimism and determination, as much as it is distant from a scarcity or zero-sum mentality.
Big Dream-lining
Big dream-lining is all about having big dreams. Although most people relate the pursuit of dreams with a goal-setting process, we believe in a fear-setting process. If we know our greatest fears, we can define mitigation and accept the limits of our control. Only then are we truly free to pursue our biggest dreams. As Tim Ferriss says: "What we fear most is usually what we most need to do."
simplification / Occam's Razor
We firmly believe in being curious and cerebral, knowledgeable and wise, competitive and victorious. We take pleasure in being intellectually challenged. However, our pursuit has taught us that the best solutions are the simplest solutions. No matter how big a problem is it can always be broken down into more approachable parts. It may not be as sexy as having the genius quick answer, but it sure works. And that is what matters to us.
